Foreign languages
I hold Advanced Diploma in Translation and Interpretation, from Doctoral program in Translation and Paratranslation, at the University of Vigo. Nowadays, I am writing my Doctoral Thesis about Paratranslation of children’s and youth literature.
During the academic year 2011 – 2012, I was studying for Master’s Degree in Training of Secondary Education, Bacharelor’s degree, Vocational Training and Language Teaching, on the Foreign Language speciality.
I hold certification, endorsed by A Xunta de Galicia, to do sworn translations from French to Galician and vice versa.
I followed several French courses at the Alliance Française in Vigo. Until I got C1 level of Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and the first level of French Affairs.
I got the equivalent Diploma to C1 in Portuguese, issued by Language Centre of University of Vigo in collaboration with Camões Institute.
When I validated my studies on Translation and Interpretation, I got CELGA V Diploma (Galician language), that is equivalent to C2 level.
I went to University of Silesia, in Katowice, during academic year 2005 – 2006, with a Erasmus Grant. There, I started my Polish Studies (at the Polish Studies Institute). I studied A2 European Module in the Language and culture Polish at Jagellonian University of Krakow in 2007 July. The following year, I got the A2 + level at the same centre.
After my Erasmus year, I participated in “Volunteer program: Support to new foreign students”, organized by ORI (International Relations Office) at the University of Vigo.
Three linguistics stays of a month in Dublin and one linguistic stay in Paris in 2003. During the last one I followed a French intensive course at the Alliance Française. Moreover, I went on holidays to several countries like France, Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Italy,…
